Buy America regulations are requirements for utility work in Federal-aid highway projects. These regulations cover the use of iron, steel, and manufactured items in permanent structures. Compliance certification is crucial, and utility coordinators play a key role in ensuring adherence to these regulations. The certification process involves evaluating materials, completing the certification form, and verifying compliance throughout the project.
