  2. Strategic Plan and School Renewal Plans Five-year plans developed through the evaluation of a needs assessment and with stakeholder input. Annually updated and approved by the School Board. Current SRP was developed in 2018-2019; Update 1 was waived by the South Carolina Department of Education.   3. Student Achievement 1. By the year 2023-24, 50% of students in grades 3-8 will score met or exceeding on SC Ready in both ELA and Math. 2. By the year 2023-24, 40% of African American students in grades 3-8 will score met or exceeding on SCReady in both ELA and Math. 3. By the year 2023-24, 41% of English Language Learners in grades 3-8 will score met or exceeding on SCReady in ELA and 43% will score met or exceeding in Math. 4.   4. Student Achievement 1. By the year 2023-24 70% of second grade students will be on track for success in third grade ELA and math as reported on the SC School Report Card. a) 2019-2020: ELA 55.4% Math 59.1% 2. By the year 2023-24 the percent of students scoring C or better on the EOC assessment will be 70% for English and 80% for Algebra. 3.   5. School Climate 1. By the year 2023-24 80% of students surveyed will score "committed" on the Student Engagement Survey. 2.   6. Teacher/Administrator Quality 1. The percentage of teachers with advanced degrees as reported on the school report card will increase from 55.8% in 2017-18 to 60% in 2023-24. a) 2019-2020: 56.6% 2. By the year 2023-24 95% of teachers, administrators, and other professional staff will be fully certified and maintain all appropriate endorsements for their positions (R2S, GT, ESOL, AP, etc.). a) 2019-2020: Currently, 99.9% of certified teaching staff are appropriately certified for the position in which they are employed.   7. Gifted and Talented: Academic 1. By the year 2023-2024, the percentage of students identified as Gifted and Talented in grades 3-8 scoring Exceeds on ELA on SCReady will increase by 10%. 2. By the year 2023-2024, the percentage of students identified as Gifted and Talented in grades 3-8 scoring Exceeds on Math on SCReady will increase by 10%. 3. By the year 2023-2024, the percentage of students state identified as Gifted and Talented in grades 3-8 will increase by 5%. a) 2019-2020: 19.1%.   8. Strategic Plan Plan April 27 through April 29 Development of a new District Strategic Plan facilitated by the Cambrian Group with Planning Committee.
