Pond is situated nearby main road and also it was unprotected During the rainy season pond water was contaminated by drains and agricultural residues The primary objective of this work is to conserve water from contamination and to increase the water harvesting capacity of pond Thereby make use of water for agriculture, livestock and domestic purpose

  10. By undertaking the above said activity it could be demonstrated among the stake holders how IWMP can be projected as an effective natural resource management programme. This work can be highlighted as good example of renovation of existing water resources and water harvesting structures that can be taken up under IWMP.
