Describe DOE requirements for energy audit software. Locate DOE guidance related to energy audits and priority lists. 3. Terminology ENERGY AUDIT SOFTWARE For the purposes of this lesson: House Assessment - On-site data collection, visual assessment and diagnostic testing. Sometimes called the site audit. Energy Audit - 2-Parts: House assessment and analysis with approved software. Priority List - Used in some states instead of software, a list of cost-effective measures for typical housing stock. Also describes the list of cost-effective measures produced by audit software for a specific house. 4. Energy Audits ENERGY AUDIT SOFTWARE An energy audit includes: Assessment and analysis. Recommendations energy saving measures. Recommendations for incidental repairs and health and safety improvements.
