Existing curricula related to electromobility in European Higher Education Institutions (EU HEIs) are generally integrated within electrical engineering programs and renewable energy sources postgraduate courses. The focus is on topics such as energy management, electric motor drive systems, power electronics, and electrical machines design. Specific programs in Greek universities and partnerships for the promotion of electrical mobility in Western Balkan HEIs demonstrate a commitment to modernizing study programs.

Instead, Electro-Mobility is taught as a subject included in Electrical Engineering curricula. In the post graduate level, a great number of M.Sc. and M.Eng. programs related to Renewable energy sources are offered. Almost all these programs include subjects directly related to EM. e.g.: NKUA: Energy Management of Renewable Energy Systems UOWM: Renewable Energy Sources Energy Management in Buildings UPTRAS: Renewable Energy Sources IUG: Renewable Energy Utilization Systems Auto-mechanics training and certification for the handling of high-voltage battery systems ( orange circuit training ) is offered by training centers.
