The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) plays a crucial role in addressing evolving technology, productivity, and globalisation challenges by supporting education, training, employment, and social inclusion initiatives. With an allocation of 101.2 billion euros, ESF+ aims to promote a more social Europe through specific objectives under the European Pillar of Social Rights, focusing on areas like inclusive education, labour market relevance, lifelong learning, active inclusion, healthcare, and social integration. It also contributes to advancing gender equality, non-discrimination, and health protection in the EU.
