In accordance with the IOBA Constitution the following Committee roles are up for re- election at today s Annual General Meeting. The roles are voluntary, open to full members of the IOBA and held for 3 years (2021-2024). There are four roles as follows; 1) Vice Chairman. 2) General Secretary. 3) Merchandise. 4) Archivist & Website (new role). Key Events AOB. IOBA Southern Branch would like to be reinstated with membership (AGM attendee) approval, by vote. With approval, start the process of affiliation with the new Southern IOBA Branch to rejoin the main group again. AGM 2019 Approval of Minutes Require members to propose and second that the minutes are an accurate record of the 2019 AGM Matters Arising Membership Card. New Membership card to be included in 2019 Newsletter. Indefatigable Bell. The Indefatigable Bell has been placed in its original position in the main corridor. Thank you to JSMTC for making this happen. Chessboard. Walter Price Chessboard to be put up for auction to raise additional funds for the Indefatigable Cup prize. No Committee held in 2020

IOBA National Sea Cadet Award, Web Site & Archives Update SEA CADET AWARD 2019/20 : Finchley Sea Cadet Unit T.S. Tartar . It was with deep regret and disappointment that we had to cancel our attendance of the 14th SCC 'Indefatigable Award' for 2019 on Friday 22nd May 2020. Due to COVID-19 and government measures. We of course sent on our hand engraved glass plaque, plus award monies. We are very happy for the Unit to use the trophy in the future at maybe one of their gala events later in the year, once the pandemic is save for all to start socialising again, transportation self pending. SEA CADET AWARD 2020/21 : MSSC HQ Cancelled ALL National Awards. SEA CADET AWARD 2021/22 : MSSC HQ to confirm Winner December 2021. WEB SITE: www.indeoba.com is always on-line 365 days year, for all to have items uploaded, PLEASE send to Steve Humphries for approval and uploading. Archives WEB SITE: Archives Please navigate the IOBA website, where you will find tabs that will link you to the Schools HISTORY & image ARCHIVES. Image Archive which contains 2000 + items to date, of photographs drawings, and moving images of and about the Indefatigable. Some of them are modern images of reunions & events, of the IOBA today and OBs as they look now but the majority are historic scenes dating from 1864 to 1995.
