Admission Requirements @ CSUN Basic Skills (CBEST or other approved basic skills) Subject Matter Competency (appropriate CSET exam or approved subject matter waiver) Fingerprint Clearance ( Any valid document issued by the CTC) Negative Tuberculosis Clearance GPA 2.67 cumulative or a 2.75 in your last 60 units Program Interview Program and university application (see website for additional items required)

CSUN Pathway Options Traditional Program Internship Program Flexible- full or part-time Must have offer of full time employment in an Department approved public or charter school Fall and spring admission Complete coursework while on the job Courses offered late afternoon and evening Courses offered late afternoon and evening 2 fieldwork practica Early fieldwork 1 full semester of student teaching 2 year program Fall and spring admission Personalized advisement Personalized advisement

CSUN Pathway Options Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) Freshman Option Education Specialist: M/M or M/S Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) Junior Option Education Specialist: M/M or M/S Leads to a BA degree in Liberal Studies and Education Specialist credential concurrently Leads to a BA degree in Liberal Studies and Education Specialist credential concurrently Full time Lower division requirements and junior standing must be met Cohort model Full or part-time Personalized advisement Personalized advisement Fall admission only Fall and spring admission

  5. CSUN Pathway Options Accelerated Collaborative Teaching (ACT) Education Specialist: Mild/Moderate Only Full time complete in two semesters Courses offered late afternoon and evening Supervised fieldwork Personalized advisement Cohort model with guaranteed course enrollment Fall admission only
