Context ESCO v1.2 as one of the deliverables of the European Year of Skills Launch event of ESCO version 1.1 gathered more than 350 stakeholders online. It allowed to further promote ESCO in the labour market and display the full range of ESCO use cases. Stress the primary role of ESCO in supporting intra-EU mobility Showcase the growing importance of ESCO worlwide and raise awareness among partner countries
ESCO v1.2 launch event building blocks Joint event between the European Commission and the European Training Foundation Hybrid event (venue TBC). Tentative date May/June 2024 Focus on ESCO v1.2 and the role of data science for the future development of ESCO Best practices from PES using ESCO Focus on implementation of ESCO in third countries and on ETF activities for trasparency of skills and qualifications The Commission will reimburse travel expenses up to 2 participants per country
