  2. Sentence A sentence is a group of words that express a complete thought . EX : Tom is going to meeting. Robert was a good king . My brother speak loudly

  3. Fragment A fragment is a group of words that does Not express a complete thought . Ex : Around the Ex : Do you

  4. There are 4 types of sentences. 1. Declarative 2.Interrogative 3.Imperative 4.Exclamatory

  5. Declarative. A declarative sentence is a sentence that make a statement . Ex : I saw a rainbow over the lake. Ex : I forgot to wear a hat today.

  6. Interrogative ? An Interrogative sentence is a sentence that ask a question and always end with a question mark and often begin with interrogative pronouns (who, what, when, how) Ex : What is your name ? Ex : Do you want something to eat? Ex : How are you ?

  7. Imperative Imperative sentences are sentences used to give a request , invitation , offer advice , direct command or instructions . Ex : complete the task by noon . Ex : Go to your home .

  8. Exclamatory ! An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that is said with a strong feeling or emotions. Note : Always end with exclamation mark Ex : You did such a wonderful job ! Ex : ! Happy birthday , my friend

  9. Review The concert starts at 8 PM. 1. Could you please pass the salt? 2. 1.Declarative 2.Interrogative 3.Imperative 4.Exclamatory What a fantastic performance that was! 3. Make sure to turn off the lights before leaving. 4. I can't believe you did that! 5. What time does the movie start? 6. Please clean your room before you go out. 7. The flowers in the garden are blooming beautifully. 8. Take your umbrella with you. 9. 10. How amazing the fireworks display was!
