New BNL Training https://training.bnl.gov/Portal/TQ-covid Have to complete training before returning to site If computer access isn t possible before returning to work, you will have to take the training on-site before beginning work. Self assessment: you will need to show when entering the site No gatherings of more than 10 ppl Must have a face covering when you return to lab site Lab vehicles Limit passengers, wear face coverings, clean vehicle afterwards Staff is responsible for cleaning their own spaces Lab can provide cleaning products/employees can bring in there own

  5. Installation Update Team has begun discussing all the necessary lifts for the construction of the sPHENIX detector Discussion about critical/engineered lifts Timelines/sequencing Equipment

  6. HCAL HCAL has had 2 meetings to discuss restarting the factory Electronics group has been in discussions about setting up 510 Hcal lab. The lab is split with TPC and we will have to determine best practices for sharing the space. Need for someone to go in ahead and establish barriers and signage 1st wave of people to go into hcal areas Generic signs about face coverings and social distancing will be posted by BNL Signage/barriers/floor tape will be individuals/groups responsibility This work cannot start until after we get off of Min-Safe. Passed around a DRAFT copy of updated 912 Factory Workplan 3 HCAL Procurements are very close to receiving bids; Skins/Electronics boxes, Splice Plate pkg, and Sector 1-3 assembly fixture EMCAL SBU produced Saw teeth and cooling manifold parts

For example, and as applicable: Workflow charts for accomplishing tasks for which you are responsible or for which your group is responsible, generating designs, or reviewing or updating documents or polices for your group. - Read equipment or software manuals that relate to your work at the Lab, either by bringing a physical manual home or reading it online. - Write instructions and procedures for equipment operation and troubleshooting. - Document work done in the form of reports and drawings. - Do research online related to your area of expertise or responsibilities at the Lab. - Catch up on the latest developments, ideas, and tools applicable to your work at the Lab. - Perform calculations and create simulations, work on designs for equipment, or write specification documentation for expected future items to be procured or fabricated.
