ANNEXE LSS5 Beam dump cooling and ventilation https://edms.cern.ch/document/2363972/0.1 Page 6 About this line : To prevent the beam dump to be operated with a lack of air-cooling, it will be connected to the SPS Beam Interlock System (BIS) via the Software Interlock System (SIS). An air flow switch will be connected to SIS via EN/STI supervision. For me the comportement will be : To prevent the beam dump to be operated with a lack of air-cooling, it will be connected to the SPS Beam Interlock System (BIS) to a dedicated input and the Software Interlock System (SIS). An air flow switch will be part of this protection. 15.04.20 Eric VEYRUNES 14
