Easter God s Love Demonstrated for you and me Resurrection for us All Matthew 28:2-6, Colossians 1:21-22
God Loves us- Resurrection For Us All LET S WORSHIP
GOD IS ALL- Jesus Had to be Brave 01 THEME AWESOME GOD- DO IT AGAIN MEMORY VERSE Last week 02 Luke 22:42 Father, if it is what you want, then let me not have this cup of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want. 03 What did you learn? For God s love to be demonstrated, Jesus had to be brave. J esus accepted the Will of God, to show us how much God loves us. God s Will was for Jesus to endure pain and suffering on our behalf. God did not want us to die. So J esus died in our place.
Easter- Gods Love Demonstrated for you and me TODAY- Resurrection for us all The Bible says to prove whether or not J esus was dead, they had to pierce His side with a spear. Water and blood came out of His body. So yes! J esus died. Jesus Died A rich man named Joseph asked Pilate to take Jesus body and bury it. Pilate accepted his request. So, J esus was buried in a new tomb and a huge stone was rolled on it. Then the people who didn t like Jesus called the Pharisees asked Pilate to place guards outside the tomb so that Jesus friends do not help Him rise from the dead after 3 days like J esus had promised before He died. Let s read, Matthew 27:57-66 JESUS Buried After 3 days. J esus rose from the grave Let s read Matthew 28:2-7 Jesus Rose Jesus resurrection means that those who have believed in Jesus when they die, they will rise from the dead and live forever in heaven with God. But for those who have not believed in J esus, when they rise, they will go to hell where the devil and demons live. Today
God Loves You- Resurrection for us all What does JESUS rising from the dead mean for us? LET S DISCUSS Have you believed in JESUS? Do you know where you ll go when you die? What can we do for our friends and family who have not yet believed in Jesus?
God Loves You- Resurrection for us all Jesus resurrection means that those who have believed in J esus when they die, they will rise from the dead and live forever in heaven with God. OUR TAKE AWAY If you have believed in J esus, your destination is heaven when you die. If you have not yet believed in J esus, I would like to give you an opportunity today to accept J esus. Share J esus with everyone. Start by sharing your testimony. Then ask them if they would like J esus to be their friend too. Read J ohn 3:16. If they say yes, pray with them to receive J esus. If they say no, pray a blessing over them.
Memory Verse JOHN 11:25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will have life even if he dies.
Conclusion God Loves us- Resurrection For Us All. Easter is a great time to remember God s love for you and me. May our lesson today be a reminder for us to make sure we have received J esus in our hearts otherwise we are headed for hell. We also want to encourage you to share J esus with everyone.
