  8. Teacher Recommendations 01 Current 8th grade teachers enter recommendations for next year s courses. 02 OVERVIEW Students View Courses Students view recommendations and request electives. This is the process for AMMS students. 03 Final Course Requests New enrollments will meet with a counselor during an enrollment appointment to discuss their courses. Students view final course requests and confirm final classes + back ups. Course waiver and AP committments signed.

  9. FINAL COURSE REQUEST FORM AMMS students will receive a course request form to write down their FINAL schedule request. Check if the courses have summer work at tinyurl.com/JCHSRising9thgrade *Includes core classes + electives + backup electives. *Teacher recs will appear on back side of form. *What is written down = what is entered. Please consider all course requests carefully.

  10. FINAL COURSE REQUEST FORM If your student is waiving (i.e., choosing a higher level class than what was recommended), you will sign here. If your student is taking an AP class, you will sign here. Everyone will sign here confirming their final course requests. Please include an email in case we have questions.

  11. ENROLLING AT JCHS 1. Complete required paperwork on enrollment website. For students not at AMMS in 8th grade. 2. Once enrollment documents are verified, you will be contacted by the counseling office to schedule an appointment. Tinyurl.com/CreekCounselingEnrollments 3. Meet with a counselor to review transcript and discuss course requests. Registration appointments for the 24-25 school year will begin April 8th.

  12. SUPPORTS AT JCHS: MENTAL HEALTH PARTNERS Visit their tables in the cafeteria for more information. The Summit On-Site (SOS) program has partnered with FCS with to provide therapy to students within school. Individual, group and family therapy. . Offers groups each semester for students and parents. The P2L Diversion Program is a partnership with schools, families, and students that supports belief that there is another way. Prevention programming within the school. Individual support, Parent Support, Classroom Education
