  3. OASCORE Program Status Highlights June and July 2020: - Permanent Council approved on June 24ththe ERP Path Forward program moving away from Oracle; On July16, Mr. Grover held a townhall with all SAF staff to provide an update of the status of the ERP program and answer staff questions. Feedback was very positive, and the goal is to have a town hall every quarter; Worked on closing all contractual and operational activities from Creoal and Oracle; Establish strategy to ensure the legacy OASES ERP system has adequate technical support while it continues to be the primary ERP system; Supported DOITS on defining a plan to ensure legacy OASES ERP has the proper redundancy in place to maximize availability at the infrastructure and application level. - - - - The content of this presentation is proprietary and confidential information of the Organization of American States (OAS). 4. OASCORE Program Status Highlights August 2020: - Held numerous meetings with Microsoft to define platform modules, gaps, restrictions, scope validation, define license service provider, pricing negotiations, etc As of September 14, OAS procurement and legal are reviewing all contractual documents with the goal to start an Enterprise Business Agreement with Microsoft by October 1st; Worked with SAF leadership to begin discussions on what SAF s service delivery model should be once we are live on the new system. The ERP migration is more than an IT project as the opportunity to modernize internal processes as well as improve the end user experience when consuming SAF services has to be considered in a business modernization effort of this scale. Therefore, SAF is recommending to change the current project name from ERP IT Project to OASCORE Business Modernization Platform; Worked closely with DOITS Chief Security Officer, Nelson Sosa, to define the security requirements needed to modernize the current ERP, since we are moving to the cloud and SAF s operating model must be able to support cloud applications that hold sensitive data; Held meetings with OAS stakeholders across the organization to gather lessons learned as well as to understand their expectations for the new system as well as SAF as a service delivery organization; - One important requirement provided by the Department of Planning and Evaluations (DPE) , which was NOT part of the scope of the initial project, is the need to integrate data from DPE with the SAF to ensure OAS Executives can have accurate data to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the programs and projects executed by the organization, which is key to foster accountability and transparency to our donors. Therefore, SAF has decided to include this requirement in the scope of the project moving forward. - - - The content of this presentation is proprietary and confidential information of the Organization of American States (OAS). 5. OASCORE Program Status Highlights September 2020: - Started defining scope for potential vendors to provide Organizational Change Management support during the implementation of OASCORE; Continue to finalize the Request for Proposal (RFP) to compete the systems integrator that will perform the implementation of OASCORE; Continue to finalize negotiations and contractual agreements with Microsoft, but also with other potential products that may become part of the new OASCORE platform; Continue to work with OAS legal and procurement departments to finalize new vendor partnerships as well as to ensure the RFP is ready in October to be published in the market; Continue to work with SAF and other OAS stakeholders to gather all information such as type and number of business processes, define Business Process Owners for each process, define various data and transactional statistics as well as to finalize the scope and processes that will be published in the RFP to ensure we are able to engage in a Times and Materials contract versus a Fixed Priced one, which carries a greater cost to the organization. - - - - The content of this presentation is proprietary and confidential information of the Organization of American States (OAS).
