  4. What we have done so far - Details Agriculture Garden (Eggplants, Tomatoes, Hot Chilies, Onions): the land has responded well to produce these products. Fields (Peanuts, Soy, Manioc, Mais): Beside Mais, everything else is in very good health and hoping to get expected results Challenges: Transport cost (50%) to take these products to Kinshasa markets. Lessons learned: Target super markets for better prices and having own transport increases margins.

What we have done so far - Details Breeding Chicken: the construction of 2000 chicken is on going Pigs: Planned from the dry season July 2023 (Cap: 200 300 animals) Transformation & Distributions We are aiming to add values to our meats by transforming most of it, create solid distribution channels in Kongo Central. Seeds Distributions: We tested seeds from Kenya, some of them gave good results. We are considering importing large quantity of these.

This is a trial farm that will be expended to larger space from Q3/4 2024 with potential to go over 40,000 birds and more.

  9. Where to from here Agriculture To Focus on Manioc (Cassava, Soy, Peanut and Mais) as these are main inputs for animal feeds. Stop with gardening while searching for firm contracts with Super Markets and before acquisition of own transport. Shift focus to seeds distribution. Aim for 100 Hectares for Cassava this year in Joint venture with large landowners

  10. Call for Actions We are calling for NGOs, development organizations and financial institutions to support EFFA in acquisition of Machineries: Agriculture: Tractor and accessories Transformation machine to produce animal feeds Transformation machine to transform chicken to various products.
