What is your name and age? Walter Yeomans 71 years old
How old were you when you enlisted in the Military? 21 years old I was drafted.
Which branch of the military did you serve in? I served in the Army.
How long did you serve in the military? 2 years
Where were you stationed? Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Vietnam
Did you learn a skill or get a degree? No, I did not.
Were you ever in danger? Yes - a lot!!!!
What was your most memorable event? Happy event- when I left Vietnam Sad event when I went to Vietnam
Here is my great, great Uncle John Roma (Buck) Register. He served in World War II.
Veterans Memorial Plant Park Waycross, Georgia My great, great Uncle Buck s name is engraved on the Veterans Memorial in Plant Park in Waycross, Georgia. It is engraved on the World War II Memorial in Washington, D. C. also.
My Uncle Buck My great, great Uncle Buck was killed in World War II. He was a prisoner of war on an enemy ship that was fired on by the Americans. His body was never recovered.
