  2. EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY 1) I am 24 years old, from the villages of Falelatai, Toamua and Vaigaga. 2) I entered Tesese Institute School in 2014 and graduated in Nov 2015 3) Started at SSAB Feb 2016 to date

  3. CERTIFICATE II COMPUTING, OFFICE ADMINISTRATION & SOFTWARE About 15 people in the class Classes started at 9am-1pm, breaks 11-11:30am 4 Days a week

  4. DELIVERY & QUALITY OF THE PROGRAM 1) Learned both theory and practical skills for the workplace 2) Emphasis was equal on the importance of both theoretical and practical application of skills for the workplace 3) Numerous tasks and assignments that put in to practice what was taught in the classroom 4) Had engaging activities (games) that kept us interested in learning 5) Had attachment programs where students could observe and experience being in the workplace

  5. OUTCOMES OF LEARNING FROM TESESE INSTITUTE SCHOOL 1) Good understanding and implementation of administration skills Typing Writing 2) Confidence boost and social skills 3) Improved understanding of business acumen 4) Relevancy of software use and application 5) Understanding and appreciation of good Customer Service

APPLICATION OF QUALIFICATION ON CURRENT JOB 1)Good use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc ) 2)Knowledge of Filing Systems 3)Implementation of good Customer Service Skills 4)Application and use of Administrative skills and knowledge (minute writing, report writing & analysis etc )

  7. CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS 1) Not enough text books. Text books were shared. * Propose to have sufficient copies made for the notes to allow students more time to focus on what was being taught. * Use of technology (emails) to send out notes etc 2) Need for new desks and chairs for students * Appeal to ex-students for assistance * Aid 4) Wide age difference of students * Perhaps we can class them closer to their age groups? 5) Accessibility- Absences due to transportation of students from rural areas. * Perhaps we can set up another branch of the Institution in an area where the majority of students enrolling live. close to

  8. FINAL COMMENTS Tesese Institute School practices what it teaches. Joining the Tesese Institute was extremely fruitful. Learnt a lot from Tesese Institute, and it gave me the courage to learn more about the services provide in any work (social) environment. Grateful to teachers for all the hard work and efforts. Highly recommend TESESE INSTITUTE to anyone who is interested in learning about the various aspects of Business Administration.
