Explore the biblical narratives of Jacob's dream, Noah's ark, and Jesus' teachings on the sustaining life force, reflecting on the themes of God's presence, guidance, and the divine plan for humanity. The imagery of ladders to heaven, gates of heaven, and the opening of windows from above and below convey powerful messages of spiritual connection and providence. Consider the profound question posed in the presence of God: Are we content to have God present but not know it?

  1. THE WELL

  2. GENESIS 28 - JACOB 10Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran.11So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

  3. GENESIS 28 - JACOB 13And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

  4. GENESIS 28 - JACOB 15Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.

  5. GENESIS 28 - JACOB 16Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it. 17And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!

  6. PRESENCE OF GOD 16Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it. Q. Are we content to have God present but not know it?

  7. FROM ABOVE AND BENEATH GENESIS 7:11In the six hundredth year of Noah s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

  8. SUSTAINING LIFE FORCE John 4:10 (NKJV) 10 Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.

  9. ACCESSING YOUR OWN WELL Proverbs 5:15 (NKJV) 15 Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.

  10. WHERE IS THE WELL? John 4:13 (NKJV) 13 Jesus answered and said to her, Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.

  11. DRAWING FROM YOUR WELL Isaiah 12:2-3 (NKJV) 2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. 3 Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

  12. YOUR WELL IS BEING CONTENDED FOR Genesis 26:18 (NKJV) 18And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.

  13. DIG AGAIN Genesis 26:22 (NKJV) 22And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.
