The Character of Kings 4 II CHRONICLES 15:3-4 (1-19) Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. 4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

THE.MESSIAH 23 God called us, and we become kings and priests unto God. Like Jesus was God's High Priest, we become a lesser priest. God in Fullness dwelt in Him to shine forth the expression of God to the world, for God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. As God was in Christ reconciling God comes into His church and anoints some Messiahettes . The same power He had is in His church. And His church becomes His dominion, and He's King over this dominion, and we are kings and priests, offering spiritual sacrifices to God, the fruits of our lips giving praise to His Name. Amen. FATHER.THE.HOUR.HAS.COME 6 This time in the OT was a very shaky time. Jehoshaphat was the king of Judah, Ahab was king of Israel at the time they had been divided. And any time we are divided we can look for trouble. We must be united and then we will stand. Jehoshaphat was a righteous man, a good man. He had had some good bringing up, a lot of examples, as we've had today. He seen his father, Asa, how that when Asa served the Lord, then God was with him. But when Asa failed to serve the Lord and got stubborn, then God departed Character of Kings 4 from him. 12 8/19/2020
No matter how well the Lord loves us, and how well you love the Lord, when you depart from serving and worshipping the Lord, then just remember, you can look for trouble to start in. BALM.IN.GILEAD 13 If the man has a disease, and the doctor has the cure for it, and the man may lay on the doctor's doorsteps. But if he refuses to take his medicine, he will die on the doorstep. You can't blame the doctor But it isn't the doctor's fault, he's got the remedy, but the man's too stubborn to take it. So is it today, that many people die in the pews, in their sins because they refuse to accept God's Balm in Gilead. They die in their sins because they refuse it, not because there isn't any there; but they just refuse to take it. They have to take something false instead. Men and women just refuse to take it, and they die, die in the church, set and listen night after night... BALM.IN.GILEAD(Ahab & Ahaziah) 10 It wasn't because there wasn't a God in Israel. Neither was it because there wasn't a prophet in Israel. But it was the king's stubbornness and his hatred for the true prophet of Israel. It wasn't because that God hadn't supplied the remedy. It was because that he was too stubborn, and he didn't like Elijah, because Elijah had predicted all the evil that happened to his father. GOD.BEING.MISUNDERSTOOD 137. Bro. Branham, I am saved and been baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, how do I get away from a stubborn spirit that I can't seem to break away from? Well, my Christian brother or sister, most times when you find people that's got stubborn spirits, it's usually a complex that causes this, either they have inherited I have met cases on the platform, thousands of those that had that spirit. And the first thing you know, I'd chase that spirit right back by discernment and find that there was a granddaddy, there was a grandmother, there was Character of Kings 4 somebody else back down there, and you inherit that by nature. 28 8/19/2020
Stubborn is not of God. And the only way to get away from that is to have faith to overcome that, if you are a Christian. You are a son or daughter of God you ll never be able just to stand and rebuke it So when you feel that you got a stubborn spirit, lay the thing on the altar, believe God that the thing is dead and you will never have it no more, go on and don't even pay any attention to it no more, and the thing will leave you. Resist the devil and he will flee from you; that's "get away quickly." So that would be my advice how to overcome it.
