  1. Year 6 preparation for secondary placement

  2. EHC Plan You should've received an updated plan after the Annual Review in Year 5 You will receive an amended EHC plan with named school on 15th February

If you disagree with this decision, you can then appeal to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SEND) by visiting our Mediation and disagreement resolution page.

  4. Choosing secondary school Ensure it can meet your child s needs (e.g. Communication, Specific/Complex needs, Physical activities) Ensure the school is within your catchment distance (free school transport) Apply by 30th September
