RISK-FREE Opportunity 2 1 Not locked in to these plans for 12 months (try me!) and You can still continue your conservation efforts (using less electricity) and Up to 1-year of bill protection NOW shifting usage outside of on-peak hours of 4pm to 9pm can save you money! Simple actions in shifting can help you save on TOU Larger savings opportunity: A/C, Pool Pump 2 1 Simple actions: Laundry, dishwasher: 5

  6. California Utility Transition Schedules 1 2 3 PG&E SDG&E SCE Q3 2020 Q3 2020 March 2019 A larger statewide media campaign will also launch prior to the March transition to help educate customers on the concept of TOU and how to shift & save. 6

Mid-Cycle Working Group Deliverables Recommendations for Specific Tasks Including Updates to the ESA Statewide Policy and Procedures Manual, California Installation Standards Manual, and Reporting Criteria Online Data Reporting Systems Household Retreatment Prioritization Models, Implementation and Outreach Strategies, and other aspects of the ESA Program Deployment of tools to enable greater Energy Efficiency and Demand Response participation in recognition of the increased state goals detailed in Senate Bill (SB) 350 D.16-11-022 p.241 8

MFWG Working Group Completed Activities to Date: Supported MFWG participant discussions to complete the ESA MF Common Area Measures (CAM) Initiative filing Initiated discussion for ESA MF CAM metrics Completed multiple ad hoc discussions, outside of the quarterly meeting Engaged large, small and medium size property owners to gather feedback Facilitated a discussion about proponents and opponents of CARE expansion proposal to include low-income MF properties, beyond current legislative framework Upcoming Activities: Continue discussion on ESA MF CAM metrics and MF CARE expansion Focus MFWG conversations on future program enhancements as well as current period implementation requirements Continue to support MFWG mandated activities specified in Decision 16-11-022, including specific year-end reporting for 2018 and 2019 Next MFWG Quarterly Meeting is 7/26/2018 in Ontario, CA, hosted by SCE 11

  14. Timelines and Process: Mid-Cycle For program years 2019 and 2020 The IOUs may submit new mid-cycle measures, pilots, and initiatives Submit Mid-Cycle Advice Letter by July 16, 2018 for Commission consideration in 4th Quarter and IOU implementation in 2019 14

  15. Timelines and Process beyond 2020 In the past, the Commission has issued a Guidance Document to set forth the framework for the applications that each IOU should follow as close as possible to allow the Commission ease of the application review and analysis IOUs anticipate receiving the Guidance Document no later than January 1, 2019 IOUs are directed to file Applications for Low Income Assistance Programs (Energy Savings Assistance Program and California Alternate Rates for Energy Program) by June 1, 2019 15
