Values are integral to our lives, guiding our actions and choices. They can be tangible or intangible, shaping our decisions and defining our character. The value cycle illustrates the impact of staying true to our values or compromising them. Goals, on the other hand, are plans we create to achieve desired outcomes in the future. They can be short-term or long-term, with successful goal setting emphasizing realism, measurability, and specificity. It's important not to sacrifice long-term desires for immediate gratification.
