Monarch Park Collegiate is a community school offering specialized programs like the International Baccalaureate, Mobility Resource Program, and Independent Living Program. They follow a two-semester system with a combination of compulsory and elective courses. The school day consists of four classes with a 55-minute lunch break, starting at 9:00 am and finishing at 3:15 pm. The student population is growing, especially in the Grade 9 cohort. Grade 9 students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of courses, including both compulsory and elective subjects.
