Conclusion Achievements Great to see intense work on full integration of lasers into becoming accelerators drivers Improvements in diagnostics, stability, long term performance We can see solutions for the near term based on a mature and understood technology: Ti:Sapp 100Hz in sight but definitely still needs intense investments and research & development Challenges What about the further future? What s the solution for >15 years time? Institutional laser research still needed into medium/long term solutions, also customization of new commercial solutions Laser not the only issue major challenges in heat management, optics damage threshold, targetry, diagnostics Are Ti:Sapp based systems the solution?
