The Pathways to Excellence (PTE) Behavioral Health Steering Committee Meeting held on February 17, 2015, reviewed the roles of various organizations, discussed the steering committee membership, and established domains of quality in behavioral health. The meeting focused on reporting meaningful behavioral health quality measures and promoting coordination among different stakeholders in the healthcare system. Instruments and measures for evaluating effectiveness, functioning/well-being, care coordination, and person-centered care were discussed. The meeting aimed to enhance the quality of behavioral health services by developing comprehensive evaluation frameworks.

Pathways to Excellence, Behavioral Health Steering Committee Goals 2015 (To publicly report meaningful behavioral health quality measure(s) by January 2015 and update quarterly) To increase the number of behavioral health providers reporting on GetBetterMaine. To develop additional meaningful behavioral health measures and continue public reporting: o Report on Condition/Diagnosis Specific Domain for January 2016 o Report on at least two measures from claims data for January 2016 o Develop current domains (Person-centered care, Effective Care-Functioning/well being, Continuity and Coordination) for 2016 reporting or re-attest for 2016 as is.
