Agenda Point #3: Status of Updates Summary/ Decisions taken/ Action Points: This was only explained/ presented Requests that came up: The new (updated) complete files should have the update version name in the name and also in the file (e.g. On 1st page) Look for a push option rgd updates (e.g. email w/ direct link to the update file) Have a further xls file that includes all active AND inactive codes AP: Silvia to look into options/ take up with Communardo. Current Update (2.32) In progress (changes already entered in the system) Migration new service contract w/ Communardo re-negotiated, will begin 1st of Dec. 2023 Workflow planned: 1.12.: release for translation Until 5.1.2024: translation 8.1.2024: new update released (=files av. on website, info mail @all subscribers) Next major update (2.33) Planned for end Q1/ 2024 Will encompass Sportstyle details (TBD) Also already planned. changes for EOG - the European Outdoor Group (TBD) Agreement/common language within the industry around outdoor activities In parallel: ask our IT provider Communardo to change soccer to football in all descriptions/ texts and add key word soccer respectively (approx. 440 lines, only in English master version, no translations needed)
Sportstyle - Details We agreed to change the name of activity #75 from Leisure/ Fashion to Sportstyle at last TF meeting. Main reason was to avoid fashion and become clearer what we mean products that are sporty in style, but not produced for being used for a specific sport, rather in lesure time, as sporty fashion items Topline, this change has already been entered in the system: Decision confirmed, call the activity Sportstyle (only) In the next update (V2.32, released for translation on 1.12.), this will already be changed on top level (only) In the first Update 2024 (V 2.33) planned for end Q1/2024), the text of all items/ products will be adapted accordingly AP: SH + Communardo to automatically replace leisure with sportstyle, then review (SH, only) For codes/ lines where it s unclear how to renam (expected 10% ) Erika agreed to help give feedback & decide on best wording. To Do: SH & Erika to finalize remaining Sportstyle codes by end Q1/2024 Summary/ Decisions taken/ Action Points: When looking at codes in detail (459 in total), the question arose if we want to change from leisure to sportsstyle everywhere in the description (text)*, or maybe stick with leisure here and call the activity Sportstyle/ Leisure see examples on next pages If yes (change all) request: who can help with input (working group)? * As this concerns a long list of codes, which then also need to be translated, these changes ow planned for update I Q1/2023

EOG: Agreement/common language within the industry around outdoor activities EOG is putting together the Outdoor Market Intelligence Service (OMIS) Reporting Rather than creating a new categorization for this, the aim is to use the existing FEDAS PCK as common data language already in use by the industry as basis and adjust/ add to it to accommodate EOG s needs The suggestions so far are: 1. Take out Hiking from activity #65 Mountaineering/ Hiking and add Hiking to activity #45 Walking/ Nordic Walking to become Walking/ Nordic Walking/ Hiking (TBD) Summary/ Decisions taken/ Action Points: Scott quickly explained the EOG requests. The fact that brands are demanding changes and EOG wants to work with the Fedas PCK as common language was very positively received. Scott, Biljana, Reidar and Tina volunteered to join the working group for this. Also Jane from the EOG will join as expert (non TF member). It was also suggested to activate Tim, outdoor/ climbing expert from Sport 2000, for this decision. A further meeting took place already at ISPO on the day after and besides discussing some first points, it was agreed to arrange a meeting with the working group, ideally still in December, in order to make progress on this topic. AP: Silvia to arrange/ co-ordinate The working group EOG/ outdoor will work to find the best solution that will be presented at the next TF meeting in Feb. 2024. 2. Add Ice & Mixed Climbing to activity #65 Mountaineering/ (Hiking) (OK, details TBD) 3. Add 3 new separate further climbing activities: (TBD) Big Wall/ Trad/ Sport Climbing Bouldering and Via Ferrata/ Canyoning/ Caving AP: Erika to contact him/ bring us together. + further Point: Add Trail Running to activity #46 Running to become Running/ Trail Running (re-name activity on top level, only) ok, will be added in next update. TBD: what very specific trail running equipment is there, e.g. shoes, sticks - different to walking/ nordic walking or hiking Who could help & wants to join this working group?
Agenda Point #4/ Short Points #2: Brainstorming Sport Industry Data/ Reports (where FEDAS PCK could play or already plays a role): #1: French translations still open, who could take care of this? or not relevant??? Summary/ Decisions taken/ Action Points rgd Short Point #1 Suggestion was to try to use ai + expert, e.g. Deepl for a first translation, then a native speaker just needs to check if the translations are correct. Nathalie was suggested as expert for checking French translations AP: Biljana to ask Nathalie if she would do this (P.S.: I (Silvia) can give her a short introduction/ training to the online tool) @ Erika: could we also ask Laetitia if Nathalie doesn t work out? #3: Logos on website: We would like to put the logos of all TF members onto the SGI-DHO website.
