  1. WALT: use expanded noun phrases

  2. What do we know about Macbeth? Talk to your partner Where does he come from? What clothes does he wear? What does he look like? (Think about hair, eyes, body and age) What personality does he character have? Is there anything special about him?

  3. We are going to write some expanded noun phrases about Macbeth. Here are some adjectives:

  4. Some examples - The cold, miserable weather made the battlefield dangerous. Macbeth lowered his large, heavy helmet as he reached home. He could see the magnificent, tall castle up ahead. The horse reared its long, slim neck in great fear. Which adjectives have I used? Who and what am I describing?

  5. Steps to Success: 2 adjectives in each sentence Remember to use a comma in between the two adjectives Don t forget your capital letter and full stop Your sentence needs to be about Macbeth.
