  1. Mathew 8:1-3 1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean. 3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

  2. IT IS GODS WILL TO HEAL.

  3. GOD IS THE HEALER OF OUR ENTIRE BEING SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY.

  4. GOD HAS PROVIDED FOR OUR HEALING.

  5. THE BASIS FOR OUR HEALING:

  6. 1. NATURE OF GOD

  7. Exodus 15:26 and said, If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.

  8. Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

  9. 2. FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS

  10. Isaiah 53:4,5 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

  11. Matthew 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. On the Cross the Lord Jesus took our sicknesses and diseases.

  12. 3. VICTORY OF THE CROSS

  13. Colossians 2:14,15 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

  14. Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

  15. 4. COVENANT

  16. Luke 13:10-12 10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.

  17. Luke 13:13,14 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.

  18. Luke 13:15 The Lord then answered him and said, Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

  19. Luke 13:16,17 16 So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound think of it for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath? 17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

  20. JESUS ESTABLISHED A BETTER COVENANT WHICH PROMISES HEALTH AND WHOLENESS.

  21. 5. REDEMPTION BLESSINGS

  22. 1Corinthians 6:19,20 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God s.

  23. WE CAN RECEIVE OUR HEALING BY FAITH.

  24. GOD OF HEALING, DELIVERANCE, MIRACLES AND WONDERS.

  25. Mark 16:17,18 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
