Our Values We are committed to the health and safety of personnel IMS Standard 1.14 Contractor Selection and Management applies to all OTML sites and projects The purpose of the Standard is to ensure that contracting and procurement is undertaken using systematic processes that include the identification and management of risks Mobile Plant and Equipment

  3. Meeting the Standard Contractor / Supplier Management Responsibility of Supply and Logistics function Selection based on: Standard criteria Ability to work safely Ability to meet technical requirements within budget Contractors and suppliers must satisfy pre-qualification assessment OTML maintains a register of approved contractors and suppliers Contractors and suppliers are reviewed periodically Mobile Plant and Equipment

  4. Meeting the Standard Plant, Equipment and Materials Purchasing and strategic sourcing based on: Quality Lifecycle costs Risk OHSE requirements OTML maintains a register of approved plant and materials Mobile Plant and Equipment

  5. Meeting the Standard Contracts Two types based on risk and value: Minor contracts Major contracts Different requirements for: Evaluation and approval process Contract documentation Contractor management plans Contract wording Monitoring and review Mobile Plant and Equipment

  6. Meeting the Standard Procurement of Plant, Equpment and Materials As per OTML procedures Suppliers provide information including SDS where applicable Where plant or equipment is hired or leased: Maintenance and calibration records are reviewed Suppliers must provide inspection reports upon request Mobile Plant and Equipment

  7. Meeting the Standard Contract Register & Training Training provided for key personnel Contractors must do appropriate induction OTML maintains register of current contracts Information includes: Contract value Level of risk Evidence of currency of insurances, licences, permits Key dates Information stored electronically and controlled Mobile Plant and Equipment

  8. Performance Measures Compliance audits at least every 3 years Periodic reviews Compliance reviews Regular monitoring of KPIs Mobile Plant and Equipment

  9. Responsibilities Position Executive Committee Chief Executive Officer OHS Manager Responsible for: Endorse this Standard Approve this Standard Ensure Standard meets requirements Standard reviewed every 3 years Deploy Standard Ensure compliance Ensure compliance at site level Ensure management and adequacy of process Regularly assess and ensure compliance with process Site General Managers Head of Supply and Logistics Mobile Plant and Equipment
