Advanced Placement (AP) Students take AP classes in base schools AP Courses offered: AP Biology (2 blks) AP Physics B (2 blks) AP Chemistry (2blks) AP Latin AP French AP German AP Spanish AP Studio Art AP World History AP Calculus AB AP Calculus BC AP Computer Science A AP Statistics AP Eng 11 (language) AP Eng 12 (literature) AP US Govt & Politics AP US History AP Psychology

  5. Advanced Placement (AP) AP courses are weighted for GPA Students take AP exam in May Colleges decide to award credit (or not) based on AP exam score of: 1-5 Go to college websites to view AP transferrable scores or contact college admission offices

Virginia Western Community College DUAL ENROLLMENT (DE) TUITION DE tuition is based on number of VWCC credits a student takes Student pays VWCC tuition at their high school/DE BCAT courses are paid at BCAT VWCC tuition is projected in the late Spring of each year Contact your dual enrollment coordinator at your student s high school for fee information
