  1. Search tools Handbooks - Start with an overview Bibliographies - Find out what has been published on your subject Catalogues - Obtain the books and articles you have found Full text resources - Search for specific details

  2. Using handbooks An article from a relevant handbook or encyclopedia can give you three things: An overview of the subject. A list of central references on the subject. Lots of inspiration for searchable subject words. Find handbooks and encyclopedias in Databaselisten .
