How are nouns categorized? How well can you apply these definitions and categorizations to identifying different types of nouns?

4. Noun A person, place, thing, or idea Examples: building; The Capital Building; Hayden Mancuso; tree; orange; taco; Pennsylvania;

5. Proper and common A proper noun is the name of a specific person, place, thing or idea. Proper nouns are capitalized. Common nouns are any nouns that do not name a specific person, place, thing or idea. Common nouns are not capitalized
