  1. Monday, March 23rd Hey kids. This is a huge PowerPoint, filled with lots of review questions and answers. Take your time through it you have two days to complete it. One slide asks you to email me. If you do, with your numbered responses, I will reply shortly after. With any additional time you have over the next two days, please read from an SSR book.   33. Verb Phrases and Helping Verbs Sometimes a verb can be more than one word. When a verb is more than one word, it is called a verb phrase. Verb phrases can be two, three, or four words. Using helping verbs with another verb makes a verb phrase. These verbs HELP to form the verb phrase. Ex.: I am walking as fast as I can. Tara had been watching the program. Greta has forgotten her lunch.
