How did Grandad know it was Lil who visited him in the hospital? Grandad knew it was Lil who was visiting him because she smelled like rain as her clothes were wet. He knew that her mum would have used an umbrella, but Lil wouldn t. Page 1. 2. Define hastily . Hastily is an adverb used to describe something said or done in a hurry and with urgency. It is excessively quick and can sometimes mean that actions are rushed, without careful thinking. My brain! 3. How does Grandad say the curse can be broken? Grandad says the curse can be broken by sending the jar back to Egypt, where it was found years ago. Specifically, he says to send it to Mr Ibrahim at the Winter Palace Hotel reception. Pages 4 5. 4.
