Healthy Weight Project Originally a 12 month project now entering 3rdschool year Working with nursery and reception aged children identified as severely obese and above by health professionals and through the NCMP including referrals from school to health Providing 1-1 weight management support to the family Including dietary, physical activity and behaviour change education and practical advice Early help assessment for each family Aim to reduce BMI at 12 month period

  5. Outcomes 90% engagement rate 76% of children we support reduce their BMI at 12 months 24% appropriately safeguarded Clinically significant BMI reduction: 0.54 reduction in BMI z-score at 12 months
