  7. TURNBACKS Whatever the reason, sometimes you just need to turn back a game. It happens to all of us. Just don't wait until the last minute to do it unless it s a true emergency. Please follow the Turn back Procedure

  8. TURNBACK PROCEDURE REMEMBER: It is your responsibility to contact the Re-assignor ASAP if you need to turn back an assignment. Unless it is within 24 hours of the game time, Email your turnback to Dave at: gotbballgames4u@gmail.com Emails submitted less than 24 hours of the scheduled game time, unless sumitted with a follow-up phone call to (717) 451-1418, will NOT be acknowledged as received. Turnbacks due to an illness should be made as soon as you feel ill. If you do not feel well the night before a game - or the morning of a game - DO NOT WAIT until lunchtime to turn back the game. The sooner you contact me, the easier it will be to obtain a replacement.

RESCHEDULING/SWITCHING A GAME ASSIGNMENT THE LEAGUE HAS THE RIGHT TO MOVE YOU FROM ONE GAME TO ANOTHER DURING THE SEASON YOU WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL - BE PATIENT THERE ARE REASONS BEHIND MOVING YOU OFF/ON A GAME THE LEAGUE IS LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR BEST INTEREST WE WILL DO OUR BEST SO YOU DON T LOSE A GAME

  10. SPECIAL REQUESTS HOW I WILL COVER GAMES WITH SPECIAL REQUESTS OR INFORMATION YOU PREVIOUSLY SENT ME I WILL LOOK INTO FILLING THOSE REQUESTS WHEN I RE-ASSIGN TURNBACKS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON SOME OF YOU TOLD ME YOU CAN WORK ANYTIME THANK YOU

  11. SCHEDULING JR. HIGH GAMES I WAS PLANNING TO SEND OUT A SURVEY THIS YEAR DID NOT END UP SENDING IT OUT I MAY EXPERIMENT WITH RE-ASSIGNMENTS AS I GET MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE JOB GOAL IS TO SCHEDULE A VETERAN WITH NEW OFFICIALS IT S A WORK IN PROGRESS

  12. DOUBLE HEADERS LAST RESORT WHEN I EXHAUST ALL OTHER OPTIONS IF IT WAS UP TO ME . I WOULD JUST SAY NO TO DOUBLE-HEADERS

CONFLICT OF INTEREST GUIDELINES/PHILOSOPHY All officials are expected to monitor and disclose any real or perceived conflicts of interest in their relationships with YAIAA schools, teams, coaches, and/or players. Please use five (5) years as a rule of thumb to avoid officiating any contests in which that school may be involved. This is not a challenge to your personal integrity, it is simply a philosophy to use so you don t place yourself in a disadvantageous position that you must defend your decisions, right or wrong. Please make every effort to adhere to these guidelines when establishing blocks and accepting your assignments in Arbiter in order to maintain the highest standard of professional integrity in this regard.

  16. UPLOADING YOUR PICTURE IN ARBITER HOW TO UPLOAD THE PICTURE INTO YOUR ARBITER PROFILE: LOG into your ArbiterSports account on www.arbitersports.com and Click on the Profile tab. On the right-hand side under "Picture," Click on the green plus sign (+) to add your picture. Click Choose File and select your desired picture from your files. Note: Select the image you would like to upload. Please note that the image must be either a 'gif' or 'jpeg' file. We recommend that your image you upload be 200 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. If your image is larger, we will resize and crop it for you. Click Upload. Verify your Picture and Click Use This Picture. Your new profile picture should appear under the "Picture" section on your profile page and in the top right corner of your account next to your name and group.

  17. CHANGING YOUR PICTURE IN ARBITER HOW TO CHANGE THE PICTURE IN YOUR ARBITER PROFILE: Log into your ArbiterSports account at www.arbitersports.com. Click on the Profile tab. Click on your Current Picture on the right-hand side. Click on Change Picture. Click Choose File. Select the new Image that you would like to replace your old picture from your files. Note: Select the image (picture) you would like to upload. Note: The image must be either a 'gif' or 'jpeg' file. We recommend that your image you upload be 200 pixels wide by 200 pixels high. If your image is larger, we will resize and crop it for you. Click Upload. Click This Picture. Your new profile picture should appear under "Picture" on your profile page and in the top right corner of your account next to your name and group. Please allow up to an hour for your new picture to show.

ARBITER READY E-MAIL Chapter Members, Please keep in mind, the only way the league knows if you are ready to accept a schedule (even If no updates/changes are necessary) is to login into to Arbiter. Arbiter records the date you logged in. Click MAIN at the top of the homepage Check the Ready to be Assigned Box (top of page) Note: If your login date is after we send out this e- mail, we know you are ready/current to accept a schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. If you do not log in to Arbiter to advise us you are ready, we will be unable to assign you a schedule.
