Heart and Home Construction Updates Christian Life Center: Financing we have received a written commitment from First Citizens for the loan Plans in the hands of Town of Cary for approval Current estimated cost for phase 1 - $3.2 million Timeline September 2021 April 2022
Heart and Home Construction Updates Office/Admin Wing bathrooms Much work is being done by the HELP team Temporary walls installed between offices All sub-contract quotes (plumbers/electricians) are in difficult to get quotes from licensed contractors for small jobs
Worship update Rev. Ray Warren Possible return to two services after labor day Ministry updates Youth Breakaway, Bridge Mission, meetings resuming Children in person Sunday school has resumed, VBS is July 25-29 from 5:30-8:30pm volunteers needed!
Adult Ministries - Missions Three Sunday schools meeting in hybrid in- person/zoom format 2 on Sunday mornings Most other groups/meetings continue virtually Some activities/missions resuming in person in the fall Seeds of Love, Thursday Morning Bible Study Food Pantry working well Fair Booth under discussion
Hispanic Ministries - We begin our worship service in Spanish in the chapel , LAST May 23 the at 11:15 am - We continue Sunday school for adults by zoom, time 9am. - We continue Night of Prayer for Zoom, Wednesdays 7pm. - The worship ministry meets on Sundays to pray and practice songs. - Mondays 7pm. lay leaders meet to coordinate Sunday services and other activities. - We have a Duke student Jim Clark, he will focus on organizing the Spanish speaking congregation's men's ministry and will preach two months a month. - The Spanish-speaking men of the congregation met Sunday, June 13, it was a time to share their testimony, and brought the biblical reflection Jim Clark - Saturday June 5, the volunteers of seeds of love and harvests of love met. - We plan to continue with the seeds and harvest program in the Fall 2021.
