6. How to Get an EDD Representative to Speak to Union Members Part 1 WED at the California Labor Federation has a Rapid Response function. WED responds when union members get laid off. Workforce services such as assistance and coaching on Unemployment Insurance, Covered California, financial preparedness, and more. 13. What is Special Enrollment? What is special enrollment? Individuals and families that experience a qualifying life event can enroll in a Covered California health insurance plan outside of the annual open enrollment period. This is called special enrollment. In most cases you have 60 days from the date of the qualifying life event to enroll in a health insurance plan. Covered California Special Enrollment Effective immediately Covered CA has extended special enrollment to June 30th.

COBRA -102% of Actual cost Spouse s Employer Plan -30 days to enroll The amount of financial help depends on your household income, family size, and where you live.
