The five ways to well-being will be a key focus for the week
Week-Long Challenge How far can you walk, run or cycle from Monday to Friday? There will be a separate leader board for walkers/runners and one for cyclists. Results to be via Strava (search for and follow Alder PE). See the User Guide on the website for more information on how to set this up. Who will be the top of the student leader boards at the end of the week?

Family Fun Challenges Day Activity Monday Waste paper bin challenge Olympics true or false quiz Art challenge Olympic Rings food challenge Tuesday Wednesday Tennis ball clap challenge Thursday Blinding lights dance challenge Friday Create your own family challenges! We still want you to send in photos, video clips etc. so we can see what you ve been up to but remember, these are purely for fun/bragging rights at home!
Your fabulous staff have been sharing their sporting talents and achievements. For example, one member of staff was the Year 11 High Jump record holder with a height of 1.75m! The challenge is to work out who has achieved what! Send your guesses to PE@alderchs.uk
Sporting Memories Each day, one member of the PE department will share an inspirational sporting memory. This may be from their own personal experience or one watched on TV or even live. Pleasesend in your own favourite memories from sport, including a photo where possible, explaining why this was such a special moment to PE@alderchs.uk
Watch and learn! Each day we will suggest a programme to watch with your families on a range of topics across sport.
