  6. Excellent library and resources facilities Designated subject areas to make it easier for new students to navigate their way round the Academy

  7. Parents, carers, staff and students think that teaching is good and are confident that this is the reason for improvement and achievement. Teachers consistently set clear targets for learning so that students know what they are expected to achieve. Learning is effective because teachers have high expectations. There are excellent relationships between staff and students. Staff manage behaviour well and no time is wasted.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you and well done as my son is truly loving being at your school and you are, with ease, exceeding all of my expectations with your handling of his education. I would like to personally thank Miss English, the teachers and staff for all their hard work and dedication they have put in over the last 5 years of his life. Our son has developed into a wonderful, confident young adult and has learnt so much from you all. Our child has received great support from the school during the whole of KS3 , I would like to say thank you to all. I just wanted to say thank you for hosting such a lovely Celebration evening it made us very proud to see our son and all the other children receive an award.
