JAIL COVID-19 SUMMARY HOUSING INDIVIDUALS DURING THE PANDEMIC GENERAL POPULATION: INDIVIDUALS INCARCERATED IN THE COUNTY JAIL ASSIGNED TO GENERAL LIVING QUARTERS. NO REPORTED COVID-19 RELATED SYMPTOMS AND NO REPORTED CLOSE CONTACT WITH ANYONE SUSPECTED OF BEING INFECTED. PRECAUTIONARY OBSERVATION NEW ARRESTS: ALL NEWLY ARRESTED INDIVIDUALS ARE HOUSED IN PRECAUTIONARY OBSERVATION FOR 14 DAYS DUE TO THEIR RISK OF COMMUNITY ACQUISITION. THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE HOUSED IN AN ORIENTATION UNIT IN A SINGLE-PERSON CELL, SEPARATE FROM GENERAL POPULATION HOUSING. ONCE AN INDIVIDUAL IS SYMPTOM-FREE FOR 14 DAYS AND RECEIVES TWO NEGATIVE COVID- 19 TEST RESULTS, THEY WILL BE MOVED TO GENERAL POPULATION HOUSING.
JAIL COVID-19 SUMMARY QUARANTINE: INDIVIDUALS HOUSED IN QUARANTINE ARE IN A SINGLE-PERSON CELL IN A SEPARATE AREA OF THE JAIL; JAIL MEDICAL CARE PROFESSIONALS MANAGE CARE AND DETERMINE WHETHER TESTING IS APPROPRIATE (IF AVAILABLE). THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WILL BE HOUSED IN QUARANTINE UNTIL RELEASED FROM WCSO CUSTODY OR FULLY CLEARED OF SYMPTOMS: INDIVIDUALS REPORTING CLOSE CONTACT WITH A SUSPECTED OR CONFIRMED COVID- 19 INFECTED PERSON BUT NO SYMPTOMS. INDIVIDUALS REPORTING COVID-19 RELATED SYMPTOMS. CAN RETURN TO GENERAL POPULATION AFTER THE TESTING NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19 AND 14 DAYS SINCE FIRST SYMPTOMS. INDIVIDUALS AWAITING RESULTS FOR A COVID-19 TEST. INDIVIDUALS WHO TESTED NEGATIVE FOR COVID-19 BUT STILL REPORTING SYMPTOMS. MEDICAL ISOLATION: INDIVIDUALS HOUSED IN MEDICAL ISOLATION ARE IN A SINGLE- PERSON CELL IN A SEPARATE AREA OF THE JAIL; JAIL MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS MONITOR CARE. INDIVIDUALS IN MEDICAL ISOLATION HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 AND ARE SYMPTOMATIC OR HAVE NOT YET REPORTED 10 CONSECUTIVE SYMPTOM-FREE DAYS. CONFIRMED COVID-19 / NO LONGER IN WCSO CUSTODY: INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM WCSO CUSTODY BUT WHO HAVE RECEIVED A POSITIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULT.
