  3. Reminders: Everyone in attendance will be muted once the meeting starts. If you want to comment, you will need to unmute yourself. I will try to manage the conversations to make sure everyone has the opportunity to speak out. Feel free to submit thoughts via the chat and hopefully one of our OSAA staff members will be monitoring that.

  4. Purpose: To develop a set of recommendations that we can present to the OSAA Executive Board to help our membership schools with guidance and a comprehensive set of guidelines specific to volleyball. What we develop and recommend will be impacted by the decisions of other entities - the situation continues to evolve and we should be prepared for changes to occur.

  5. What we can anticipate: The NFHS/SMAC and the OSAA/SMAC will be issuing medical guidance soon. Medical recommendations carry BIG WEIGHT with decision makers. Not every sport will have the same reopening timelines.

  6. Meeting #5 Focus Question: Face Covering Information: - Practice situations - Match situations - Officials Minimum of 9 Days of Practice Required

  7. Meeting #5 Focus Question: Competitions beginning September 23 -Contest Limitations 12 playing dates - No tournaments - Double duals allowed - Cut offs - 6A and 1A October 24 - 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A October 27

  8. Meeting #5 Focus Question: Postseason Competition dates - 6A and 1A - 1st round October 28 - 2nd round October 31 - 5A, 4A, 3A and 2A - 1st round Oct. 31 All Classifications: - Quarterfinals- November 3 - Semifinals- November 5 - Finals- November 7

  9. Meeting #5 Focus Question: Would you prefer overlapping schedules with other activities to play the most weeks? Or not overlapping seasons and having shorter a season? Examples: - Washington model - California model -Nevada

  10. Future Meeting Dates: TBD
