  2. CLINICAL SUPERVISORS COURSE - Training and supervision of medical students - Training and supervision of Foundation Year doctors on rotation - Training and supervision of GP trainees in practice settings - Training and supervision of GP trainees in OOH settings January 2022

  3. TRAINEE SUPPORT AND PREPARATORY SESSIONS Weekly Roleplay sessions with exam registrars RCA AKT sessions with exam registrars - model questions - Exam techniques - Mental and physical preparedness WPBA support for younger trainees February to November 2023

  4. Working closely with co- Hub fellow DR Brook With support from DR Runa Saha Others involved in this project include - Staff of the Nottingham University - Dr Graham Dunthorne - Robert Basset - Sandeshkumar Lakkol We worked together and produced a set of videos addressing back pain from a GP s perspective. These were used in the symposium which was a resounding success. July 2022 January 2023 Back pain Symposium for Medical Students

  6. NDUK SPECIALTY CONFERENCE OCTOBER 2022 WHOLE DAY CONFERENCE VARIOUS SPECIALTIES CAREER TALK DELIVERED FOR GP AS RESOURCE PERSON + INSIGHT ON PREPARATIONS TO BECOMING GP

  7. PRODUCTION OF A STANDARDISED INDUCTION TIMETABLE FOR GP TRAINEES

This is an on-going event the brain-child of Drs Runa and Cathy September 2023 to December 2023 MONTHLY NEW TO January 2024 to April 2024 NHS It involved GP trainees in 1stand 2ndyears of training from across various programmes in East Midlands COMMUNICATION SKILLS EVENTS We facilitated shared experiences and challenges Role-played consultation settings in GP focusing on difficult scenarios and how to handle these using conflict resolution and dissusion techniques. Jargon bursting exercises etc.

MENTORSHIP I SAVED THIS FOR LAST AS I FOUND THIS THE MOST BENEFICIAL PART OF THE PROGRAMME EXTREMELY LUCKY TO HAVE DR DAN PETRIE AS MY MENTOR AN EXCELLENT GP WHO SEEMED TO HAVE INVALUABLE CAREER ADVICE FOR VIRTUALLY ALL AREAS OF GP AS WELL AS MY OWN ASPIRATIONS AND GOALS (LONG AND SHORT TERM. DRAWING FROM HIS OWN EXPERIENCES. A SAFE SPACE TO VENT! LOL!!!

  11. TARGETS Enrol in the next Education supervisor s course. Grow the GP support and preparatory sessions until it can be delivered by as many GPs as possible in and around UK. Continued in-practice and OOH support for Fys, GPSTs and others in the clinical and non-clinical team involved in patient care. Continue to act as a resource person in GP conferences, seminars etc for prospective GPs and GP trainees especially the IMGs. Continue to work with Fellows from Nottingham to see that a standardised induction process is rolled out across East Midlands
