Performance12 months to November 2021 Force Swindon CPT Wiltshire Police recorded crime has been stable with a slight increase by 0.1% in the 12 months to November 2021 and continues to have one of the lowest crime rates in the country. Wiltshire Police has seen a 13.3% reduction in vehicle crime and a reduction of 15.5% in residential burglaries in the 12 months to November 2021. Our service delivery remains consistently good. In November 2021, we received: 7,181 999 calls, (answered within 9 seconds on average); 11,146 101 calls, (answered within 10 seconds on average); 11,390 CRIB calls, (answered within 2 minutes 20 seconds on average). In November 2021, we also attended 1,586 emergency incidents within 10 minutes and 11 seconds on average. During 73.1% of these searches, no object was found. In 25.9% of cases, an object was found. Of these cases 78.0% resulted in a no further action disposal; 22.0% resulted in police action being taken; 9.0% resulted in an arrest.   4. Local Priorities & Updates Priority Update The local priorities are set at the Parish Community Safety Group Meetings which are scheduled in approximately every quarter. These are attended by elected representatives from the community and partner agencies, in an effort to identify what is important to the community and to bring a multi agency approach in finding solutions Set at Stratton Community Safety Group Meeting on 9th December 2021 Concerns around parking and driving standards around Ruskin and Beechcroft Primary School and also Kingsdown Secondary School. Work ongoing around education of parents, engineering opportunities with the Council and enforcement Next CSG Meeting 10th March 2022 Stratton Driving/parking around Schools Stratton ASB in Meadowcroft and Merton Fields Set at Stratton Community Safety Group Meeting on 9th December 2021 Targeted patrol ongoing. Parish Council to look at target hardening solutions at the locations. Central Swindon North Will be set at next Central Swindon North Community Safety Meeting, scheduled for 19th January 2022 West Engagement with Lydiard Park Academy Set at West Swindon Community Safety Group Meeting on 11th November 2021 Engagement sessions / classroom lessons to take place with the pupils around exploitation and staying safe.
