  2. 1st Semester 2021 Internal meetings and workshops: February: Decarbonising Industry and Enterprises April: EED article 8 main barriers June: WG meeting with the Centre of European Policy Studies, author on behalf of the EC of study on the Assessment of the non-SME definition for the purposes of art.8 (published in April 2021) + support for the study on Decarbonisation/Recovery plans SMEs and energy efficiency in enterprises (LEAP4SME): April 2021: session at BEHAVE on energy efficiency behavioural policies in enterprises with the Universities of Lausanne and the UIT Business School April 2021: report on SMEs energy and economic mapping in Europe June 2021: report on policy analysis of EE in SMEs in Europe January-June 2021: speakers from 8 different Agencies Relevant stakeholders/initiatives: Concerted Action WG art.8, EEFIG WG Industry, CINEA (as speaker), BEHAVE, UNIDO/UNECE IWG, Joint Research Centre, ETIP-SNET, CEPS

Workshops/WG meetings Since the introduction of the EED (2012) and the first round of mandatory audits in 2015, some Member States have been seeking further guidance on how the criteria should have been applied. At the same time, National Authorities have gained knowledge from transposing and applying art. 8 criteria in their Countries.
