LWML Pastoral Counselor 101 You are a LWML Counselor!
GOALS of LWML PC 101 Introduce you to the role of LWML Counselor Give you an understanding of what you are to do in this role. Help you to understand those resources that are available to you. Show you what it means to have something go through Doctrinal Review.
YOU ARE A DISTRICT COUNSELOR WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO? 1. You are the spiritual leader for the District LWML Board. This means you are advisory in your duties You will be called upon to lead devotions, prayers and Bible studies. At times, the ladies will lead the devotions for meetings. Do not be offended by this. If asked, give some guidance, give it. Enjoy being the spiritual leader, which is what you are called to do as a pastor.
YOU ARE A DISTRICT COUNSELOR 2. You will be called on the prepare and lead worship services on the District level. 3. You may be called upon to lead Bible studies or topic studies at Retreats and/or Rallies. 4. You may be called to give guidance to Zone Pastoral Counselors in a variety of areas.
