God guides His children to do things for the right reasons.
This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 1:21

Look at Matthew 6:1. What does Jesus tell His followers not to do? In what ways are people your age motivated to impress others?
What do you do when you realize your motives are off? Who wants to share your creation about doing things for the right reasons?
Matthew 6:9-13 9. This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11. Give us today our daily bread. 12. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
