  2. Yoga is originated from Veda , oldest scripture of India systematically presented Patanjali in yogsutra in around 150 B.C. (4000BC) and saga by Patanjali, an Indian saga is the compiler of yoga science. He wrote yogasutra containing 195 verses divided in four chapters. .

  3. According to yogasutra of Patanjali: Yoga is the restraint of the activities of mind According to Bhagavad Gita : Evenness o mind is yoga(2/48) Yoga is skilfulness in action(2/50)

  4. There are basically four paths which all lead to same goal; the attainment of the ultimate reality. These paths are Karma- yoga---the yoga of action Bhakti yoga the yoga of devotion Gyana yoga-the yoga of knowledge Raj yoga the royal yoga path Beside all theses four there have another type of yoga hatha yoga(physical yoga) which help the above four to attain their ultimate reality.

  5. It is the physical dimension of yoga philosophy , in order to attain supreme reality one has to cleanse their mind and body and prepare the body , physically and mentaly enough strong that it enables a sou to have a perfect hold on the body.

  6. The whole essence of Bhagabat gita preaches karma yoga- it is the yoga of action. Do good and be good, do your job with complete dedicationand donot expect anything in return- dedicate entire work to the suprime being.

  7. It is the yoga of devotion.. Here one makes a strong bond with the god . After a certain stage his intensity crystallizes the image of god. At this stage the person can touch, fee and experience the supreme being .tears of joy out of compassion and ecstasy is experienced at the highest state.

  8. It is the yoga of true knowledge. One experiences the consciousness through knowledge. here the person has to gather immense discrimination capability .. One has to know what is and what is not. The person stops believing in materialistic sense and concentrates on the reality, the soul. highest spiritual acquiring

  9. It is the yoga of mind control One experiences the intensity of highest spiritual consciousness by controlling the mind to attain this goal the yogi/yogini used eight limbs yoga)- yama, niyama, asana, prayanama, pratyahara dharana dhyana and samadhi of yoga(Ashtanga

  10. We dont live to do yoga; we do yoga so that we may live- more easily, joyously Yoga is the precious stone of healthy living. and gracefully.
