  1. Objective: 1. To have student leaders understand the importance of pulling on the same side of the rope with examples from real life. 2. To have student leaders know the importance of mission, vision, and values. 3. To have students leaders know the difference between a company with No Mission vs. Knowing the Mission vs. Being on a Mission. Outline: 1. Define key terms and key questions they answer within a company. 2. Review the foundational principles of 5 different companies and have student try to guess each company. (Nike, Facebook, Costco, Google, and Starbucks) 3. Review our programs foundational principles. 1. Inspire my student leaders to Be on a Mission as opposed to simply knowing the mission.

Remember our mission is to create stories in class, on campus, and in the community. List practical ways you will make this mission become a reality. 2. Our vision is to develop great leaders, who do great things. How does our vision related to the concept of Root and Fruit?
